Welcome to SELMAS 2006 in Shanghai!

The International Workshop on Software Engineering for Large-scale Multi-Agent Systems (SELMAS) is a software engineering workshop, providing a forum for researchers, practitioners and educators to present and discuss the most recent innovations, trends, experiences and concerns in the field of software engineering for agent-based systems.

SELMAS 2006 main theme is "Building Dependable Multi-Agent Systems". Dependability of a computing system is its ability to deliver service that can be justifiably trusted. Making large-scale agent systems maximally dependable is still an open issue.

In 2006, the Chinese city of Shanghai hosted SELMAS workshop on May 22-23. Thanks to all for your participation; we hope to see you at future versions of SELMAS.
